Improving Communities, with Hearts and Hands
We do work that matters every day — for the clients we serve and the communities we live in.
We build airports for FORTUNE 100 companies and houses for our neighbors. We improve water quality and cook breakfast for families in need. We sit on boards, and we race for cures. And we believe that building strong communities starts from the inside, by reaching out to help those who, because of circumstance or crisis, need it.
We're not just a company. We're a community.
Making our clients successful — that's what makes us a good company. Making our communities successful — that's what makes us good neighbors.
Charity of Choice
Together, we can do so much more. That's why each year, we select a major charity to be the recipient of our major funding and volunteer initiatives. It helps us to reach out, locally and globally, with more impact
Rock the Parkway
Burns & McDonnell is proud to sponsor Rock the Parkway, an annual fundraiser running event benefiting a local charity.
Treads & Threads
We support the care and research that the University of Kansas Hospital provides to our community. As the 2008 event chairs, Greg and Deanna Graves helped raise $1 million to support cancer care and research.
We believe that strong communities start with strong neighbors. That's why Burns & McDonnell's employee owners choose to support the people in our communities through generous donations to the United Way.
Multiple sclerosis stops people from moving. We push muscles, ride the miles and raise the money to help prevent that. Each year, our team logs more than 20,000 miles to fight multiple sclerosis.
Burns & McDonnell joins this competition for local charity, taking up the challenge to build four innovative and lasting solutions over just four months to help those who are struggling in our communities.
