FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker and members of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce joined Burns & McDonnell leadership at a ribbon-cutting and open house to celebrate the company’s growth and showcase its new office space in downtown Fort Worth.

Since opening its first Fort Worth office in 2010, the firm has seen rapid growth and job creation in the metroplex. With more than 71,000 square feet of space at 777 Main St., the new office has 230 employee-owners and room to grow. Burns & McDonnell plans to more than double its Fort Worth workforce to more than 500 by 2027.

“We are honored and proud to be part of the Fort Worth community,” says Scott Clark, senior vice president and general manager of the firm's Dallas and Fort Worth offices. “The rapid growth of the Fort Worth office is a testament to the hard work of our team and our strong partnership with local clients. This expansion grants us more opportunities to hire talented industry professionals to deliver top-notch, comprehensive design-build services for our clients.”

Burns & McDonnell professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex — the Fort Worth team, plus another 140 employee-owners in the firm's Dallas office — offer clients a full range of consulting, engineering, architecture and construction services. They focus on mission-critical facilities, electrical transmission and distribution, transportation infrastructure, environmental services, manufacturing, and decarbonization projects.

Burns & McDonnell is ranked No. 1 in the Power industry and ranks No. 3 among the Top Design Firms in Texas and Louisiana, according to Engineering News-Record. In addition, the Fort Worth office has consistently been ranked a Best Place to Work in Fort Worth by Fort Worth Inc. magazine since 2017.
