BENGALURU, India — Burns & McDonnell India, part of Burns & McDonnell, has named Breck McGary as regional office manager for the firm’s new office in Bengaluru. Nikesh Regmi has been promoted to lead the Transmission & Distribution Group for Burns & McDonnell India.
McGary has been an integral part of the leadership team for Burns & McDonnell India since 2016. While serving as vice president of the Transmission & Distribution Group in India, McGary expanded the team to 400 employees, solidifying its position as the company’s largest group in India. Under his leadership, the group not only grew in number but also established partnerships with 16 other offices around the globe. This expansion has enabled the firm to serve a diverse range of clients, with more than 60 active accounts.

McGary has nearly two decades of experience in project management, technical oversight, quality control and electrical engineering. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming and joined Burns & McDonnell in 2015.
Regmi will lead the Transmission & Distribution Group in India. A proven leader, Regmi has served as both an engineering manager and a project manager for engineer-procure-construct (EPC) projects. In these roles, he has marshaled projects from conceptual design through construction and commissioning. Throughout his career, Regmi has spent significant time as a resident field engineer while also managing commissioning and startups for transmission and distribution projects, as well as refining and gas plant projects. Since joining Burns & McDonnell in 2009, Regmi has delivered innovative and forward-thinking solutions crucial to support clients in the power transmission and distribution sector. Regmi holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a master's degree in engineering management from the University of Kansas.
