DALLAS, Texas — Michael Kardokus has joined Burns & McDonnell as leader for the firm’s Construction Group in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Within his 17-year career, Kardokus has acquired extensive experience across various project types, including semiconductors, data centers, healthcare facilities, central plants, food processing plants, industrial manufacturing, and transportation.

Kardokus will lead a team of multidiscipline professionals, while broadening the firm’s construction services in Texas. “His shared passion for our top priority, safety, makes us certain that Michael is the right person to lead this group,” says Scott Clark, vice president and general manager for the firm's offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. “I am confident that his leadership and passion will contribute significantly to our continued success and growth.”

Kardokus recently served as the chairman of the Construction Science Board at the University of Oklahoma. He currently serves as the Dallas board president of the Mechanical Contractors Association.
