CALGARY, Alberta — Reinforcing a commitment to its Canadian clients, Burns & McDonnell is promoting Marco Bolk to lead the engineering, architecture and construction firm’s Canadian Construction Group, with Bolk based in Calgary. The firm’s Canadian operations offers full-service engineering, construction and consulting solutions in a variety of sectors.

Bolk has construction experience across different market sectors including oil and gas, electrical transmission and distribution, construction, food and consumer products, and power generation.

“I am excited to lead our Canadian Construction Group,” Bolk says. “With the upcoming project opportunities we see and the overall growth in Canada’s construction industry, our firm is ready to continue making our clients successful.”

He has more than 15 years of demonstrated leadership working with project engineers and key suppliers. Prior to coming to Burns & McDonnell, he managed regional offices in both Ontario and Western Canada, focusing on turnkey engineer-procure-construct (EPC) solutions.
