ST. LOUIS, Missouri — Burns & McDonnell has promoted Wayne Weber to lead the regional Environmental Services Group in St. Louis, Missouri. A veteran environmental engineer and hydrogeologist with nearly 25 years of diverse experience, Weber has successfully led large-scale projects for clients nationwide.

“Wayne is one of the most versatile and knowledgeable environmental professionals within the industry,” says Breck Washam, vice president and general manager for Burns & McDonnell in St. Louis. “His diverse experience and strong technical background make him the ideal leader to guide our regional environmental team, especially as we mobilize to provide robust, highly adaptive support to meet our clients’ unique needs amid the current global crisis.”

Within the past five years at Burns & McDonnell, Weber has designed, constructed and managed the operation, monitoring and maintenance of major remediation systems in nine states. Additionally, he has planned and implemented site investigations to characterize soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment conditions at a variety of facilities, including several Superfund sites.

He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Utah and a registered professional geologist in Arkansas and Missouri.
