We performed front-end engineering services for the development of a standard carbon dioxide (CO2) capture design package to be implemented at multiple gas processing sites throughout the Gulf Coast.
The captured CO2 will be injected into a pipeline for permanent sequestration, supporting the owner’s sustainability and renewable fuel goals.
The standard design covers the compression package, and multiple designs were generated for the treatment packing, which includes the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) stripping and triethylene glycol (TEG) dehydration. Sites with small- to medium-capacity requirements included a single-train design with one compression package, while higher-capacity sites used a double-train design and two compression packages.
