Our team, as part of a joint venture with Zachry Industrial Inc., is the EPC contractor for a world-scale integrated plastics facility along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Once operational, the plant will produce polyethylene, enabling customers around the world to create everyday products like pipe for water irrigation, packaging that keeps food fresh, and containers for personal care products.
The joint venture, BMZ Third Coast Partners, will execute all project phases for the outside battery limits (OSBL) utilities systems and related infrastructure for the facility, owned by Golden Triangle Polymers Company, which is a joint venture between Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. LP (CPChem) and an indirect subsidiary of QatarEnergy.
Construction of the plant began in 2022, and it is expected to be operational in 2026. At its peak, approximately 4,500 crafts, trades and other construction professionals will be working at the project site.
