We provided engineer-procure-construct management (EPCM) services for the largest soybean crushing facility in Kansas. This plant, owned and operated by Bartlett, a Savage Company, can process up to 49 million bushels of soybeans annually, contributing to production of feed, food and renewable fuels.
The collaboration between our team and the client led to completion on schedule and within budget. By deploying integrated resources across our company and expediting issued for construction (IFC) drawings, we were able to navigate an aggressive 27-month timeline from engineering kickoff to mechanical completion.
In addition to the environmental gains achieved, the project also boosts the local economy. By sourcing locally grown soybeans, the plant supports Kansas farmers with a new market in the region, creates jobs, and launches an economic ripple effect that will strengthen the agricultural and industrial sectors for years, promote sustainable growth, and generate community prosperity.
