PROJECT

World Headquarters Expansion Phase 2

The second phase of the corporate headquarters expansion — designed and built by our integrated team, in partnership with VanTrust Real Estate — complements the first phase, with similar exterior and interior treatments.

The project was completed with more than 134,000 hours without any safety incidents.

The expansion features a four-story, 142,000-square-foot office building and a 550-stall parking garage. The building houses 776 seats, increasing the capacity of the Burns & McDonnell world headquarters by 22%. Its 42 conference rooms and two large training rooms have smart technology to increase efficiency and collaboration by using web-based meetings.

Each workstation includes a standing desk — allowing the user to sit or stand — as well as pullout furniture for informal teaming sessions. Customized areas throughout the building accommodate various communication styles and enhance team collaboration.
