Baggage handling systems are complex networks that incorporate public interaction, movement of goods, security systems and tracking technology. We design systems that address new and evolving security protocols, technology rollouts, public expectations and capacity growth.
The trend toward remote check-in has created challenges for secure transit that must be solved with technology and good physical configuration practices. Self-check-in and self-tagging require new equipment and devices formerly not found in the already-crowded ticket counter area. The integration of explosives-detection equipment, TSA and airport cameras, baggage and carousel monitoring, and door controls must be operationally sound and functionally reliable without hampering flight schedules or the passengers rushing to meet them.
Our professionals are experienced in implementing security systems as part of comprehensive baggage projects working with airports’ TSA and CBP operations for domestic and international systems.
