From facilities design and utilities to civil and site infrastructure, we have proudly served the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (DOE-EM) as it focuses on its mission of addressing the Cold War environmental legacy in the U.S. We leverage our broad portfolio to deliver results as the agency enters the homestretch of the world’s largest environmental cleanup program.
Our contract awards for cleanup projects broaden our footprint to include project work at several of the DOE-EM sites. Our team of professionals working at the Hanford Site and Savannah River Site provide the DOE-EM with an unmatched understanding of how to execute demanding environmental programs. Our experience blends with the skillsets we provide to the DOE Office of Science, the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), the Department of Defense (DOD) and commercial clients.
Our team is committed to proven quality processes under our corporate and federal nuclear quality assurance (NQA-1) programs, integrating quality controls with precise implementation in every phase of ISO-based and NQA-1 project execution. Our extensive 2D and 3D modeling capabilities are important components of our quality commitment, having been successfully applied to produce accurate renderings of existing facilities and infrastructure.
Our team has extensive experience with delivery of nuclear projects at the Hanford Site along with other DOE clients across the complex. This is one facet of our nuclear operations and hazardous waste experience. We have executed project scopes for development of new radiation detection and monitoring systems, and execution of a soil and groundwater remediation program at a uranium site in Oklahoma. Other projects include subsurface modeling for PFAS contaminants at various DoD sites and remediation techniques including pump and treat. Our remediation resume also includes industry leadership in the remediation of coal fired power plants as well as fuel, oil, gas and chemical sites.
As DOE-EM increasingly looks to transition sites to beneficial uses, we can leverage our broad portfolio of project experience to implement clean energy solutions, including solar, wind, battery energy storage, and small modular and microreactor nuclear technologies.
We are a leader in safety in our industry and the DOE. We have been an active DOE Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Legacy of Stars participant since 2006 and were one of the first subcontractors to be recognized as a Star Site. This aligns with our commitment to safety, quality and service to numerous federal civilian agencies.
