Providing the infrastructure necessary to move and store oil and gas products safely and efficiently requires an experienced team. Our professionals bring customized solutions to meet traditional and evolving energy demands.
Our team has more than 50 years of product storage and logistics experience, ranging from early design through complete engineer-procure-construct (EPC) delivery and commissioning of facilities for marine storage and distribution of crude oil, refined products, ammonia, hydrogen and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Our work on terminals — completed across all major oil production, shipping and refining regions — includes the planning, permitting (federal, state and local), design, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup of storage terminals. We handle all aspects of these facilities — including receiving, storage, blending, marine dock topside work, and rail and truck loading and unloading — to deliver what you need, when you need it.
Specialty systems — such as additive injection, vapor recovery, leak detection, fire detection/protection, cathodic protection, drag reducing agents, hydrogen sulfide detection/monitoring, nitrogen blanketing, and large dock and offshore work — also are within our capabilities. We work closely with you to design the optimum amount of atmospheric or pressurized storage with the most cost-effective and operationally efficient site layout.
Our experience includes new construction, reroutes, lower-in-place equipment, storage facilities, pipelines, compressor stations, booster stations, program management and integrity projects such as strength testing, and enabling in-line inspection (ILI) and ILI runs.
We have experience that encompasses automation and controls, as well as all necessary facilities for pipeline operations.
LPG & Cold-Service Terminals
Our full-service, multidisciplinary services include solutions that help you move your LPG, liquefied natural gas (LNG), butane, ethane, hydrogen and ammonia projects from conceptual design and preliminary engineering to facility commissioning and startup. We determine cost-effective and cost-efficient steps that determine key factors in every project phase, from finding the most suitable locations or routes for your project to conducting environmental studies, soliciting public input, obtaining regulatory approvals, acquiring appropriate land rights and monitoring construction activities. We have consistently made our customers’ projects successful through our focus on safety and excellence in project execution.
We help you work through the challenges of both greenfield and brownfield LNG, LPG, butane, hydrogen storage and loading, and ethane and ammonia import/export terminal facilities. As an EPC provider, we integrate our construction professionals early in the design process to set the project up for success. We offer a flexible path to construction by using our self-perform construction resources, implementing a multi-subcontractor approach or creating the right blend of both. We work with you to select the most appropriate route based on your project’s schedule needs and overarching labor concerns.
Our integrated team can evaluate your cold-service process needs and design your refrigeration, boil-off gas, vapor recovery and other systems. Our experience includes the pressurized tanks, spheres and cold piping that are critical with these products.
Marine, Truck & Rail Terminals
Our oil, gas and chemical storage and logistics team has a range of experience working at marine, truck and rail terminals.
We have relationships with multiple marine contractors and are experienced with loading arms, dock/over-water work and vapor control systems. We understand the requirements associated with Coast Guard certification and have worked with our clients and certifying entities to help streamline the certification process.
For decades, we have served the trucking transport, railway, and oil and gas industries, both directly and through industrial, state and municipal clients. Our professionals have an in-depth understanding of loading and unloading design, permitting, and construction-related issues and needs. We provide the full range of services associated with mainline and industrial track, facilities, yards and terminals, and bridge and structure projects across the country.
We bring it all together to provide the loading and unloading services you need to move products using the fastest-growing and most economical transport method today. No matter the challenge, our railway and oil and gas professionals can help make your project a success.
