A steadfast servant leader, Chad Hotovec is making Burns & McDonnell India a catalyst for growth and a global center of excellence.
Chad is known for his ingenuity, focus on client service and dedication to supporting the employee-owner experience. He’s spent his entire career at Burns & McDonnell in a variety of roles including project controls, division cost management, project engineering, project management, and as manager of the Oil, Gas & Chemical Group in Mumbai. He has played a crucial role in implementing new systems and processes, improving cost-efficiency and developing high-performing teams. He and his team are focused on diversifying the company’s India operations in different sectors, product lines and geographies.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’ve always been fascinated with aviation, and from a young age I wanted to be a fighter pilot. When I fell in love with engineering, I did the next best thing and got my private pilot’s license right after college.
What’s the coolest part of your job?
We work in various industries and support clients around the world, which is so cool. Our employee-owner mentality has developed a fantastic team of entrepreneurs who want to make a difference, and I genuinely enjoy being a part of it.
What excites you most when you look at the future of the company?
I think the future holds tremendous opportunity across all the industries we support. Our employee ownership culture and focus on our clients’ success will position us to help solve new and existing global challenges.
