Jeffrey knows how to start, develop and lead strong, diverse teams to design and build the infrastructure our country depends on. He’s led a unique, distinguished career, serving in a range of roles that include architect, engineer, entrepreneur, professor and business leader. A licensed architect in 22 states, he has brought a unique design and project development perspective to one of the fastest-growing regions in the Burns & McDonnell network. He founded the firm’s first Mid-Atlantic office with fewer than a dozen employee-owners and has since grown the team to more than 250 employee-owners across six offices.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am an avid reader and teacher of leadership. I teach classes at a local university, and I strive to learn everything I can about leadership. This allows me to discover, apply and hopefully practice better leadership every day.
What inspired you to pursue your career?
A love for Legos, a love for design and a love for people.
