Renita Mollman

Chief Administrative Officer
Board Member

From designing projects at airports across the U.S. to building and leading award-winning teams to serving as chief administrative officer for our firm, Renita Mollman never backs away from a challenge.

Renita has been breaking barriers and helping build the future of the AEC industry for more than 30 years. She began her career in the 1980s as a civil engineer, and steadily earned a reputation for her ability to exceed expectations — and a promotion as the company’s first female engineering manager. For nearly two decades, she supported more than 100 projects for aviation and military clients around the world. She took charge of our California offices in 2009, growing the team and quadrupling revenue. In 2020, she was promoted to chief administrative officer and in 2021 became our first female board member.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I was raised in the town of Deadwood, South Dakota (yes, like the HBO show). I was the first in my family to go to college. I enjoy traveling and have been to all seven continents.

What inspired you to pursue your career?

I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do after high school. My high school math teacher pushed me to apply to South Dakota Mines. I started off as a math major then transferred into civil engineering after my first semester. The rest is history.

What’s the coolest part of your job?

Providing great service to all our clients, both internal and external. It has been so rewarding to help improve how our Corporate Services teams work with all business divisions to better serve our clients. In my current role, I get to use all the skills I have learned as an engineer, project manager and department manager to enhance our company and how we do business. Being able to see the vision of the entire company and help us grow is a lot of fun.
