What inspired you to pursue your career?

I always wanted to pursue a career in something bigger than myself. At Burns & McDonnell, I’ve been able to grow my career and focus on making a positive impact on a large scale. We take on some of the world’s largest challenges, and I’m proud to say we’re helping improve communities, society and the environment.

What's the coolest part of your job?

It would definitely be building genuine and meaningful relationships with clients. Throughout my career, I have been able to connect with a variety of different clients to understand their challenges and goals. Being able to partner with them to road map and deliver their desired success is the most gratifying part of my job.

What excites you the most when you look at the future of infrastructure?
I am extremely excited to see the level of investment in the utility industry over the past five years. We’ve been developing some of the most advanced decarbonization technologies, inclusive of the next generation of nuclear power. I am looking forward to continuing to solve problems and to help reshape what the energy industry looks like in the decades to come.
