We want to be self-made and equally represented. We want to innovate without judgment or fear of failure. We want to create a place that’s open for all, where we can be safe, included and heard. Since 2004, our internal DE&I Alliance team — full of passionate individuals and leaders — has governed our efforts to grow and thrive in this space. These are the pillars that align us and guide our evolving journey.

Reshape the Conversation
Our foundation for a more inclusive workplace includes training on transparency, inclusive communication, allyship and belonging; recognizing those who foster inclusion; and empowering resources. We regularly introduce programs around topics like culturally responsive coaching, gender equity and inclusion neuroscience.
Storytelling is a powerful tool for building connection and empathy. These Stories of Us offer personal perspectives from our employee-owners.
We connect with minority and women’s organizations, college diversity committees, employment agencies and more to cultivate an increasingly diverse pool of employee-owners. We also empower pre-college students to follow STEM paths. We’re not looking for “culture fit,” or more of the same. The “culture add” mindset helps us evolve.
